Healthy Eye X-Ray Induced Cataract

The International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) has revised its eye dose threshold and the occupational annual dose limit significantly downwards. More recent epidemiological studies suggest a ‘no threshold’, as even extremely low doses of radiation can induce cataracts.

Protect your eyes against a decrease in eyesight, sharpness, ability to focus and see objects in bright sunlight, which are among the typical symptoms with posterior subscapular cataracts.

PROTECT YOUR EYES AGAINST X-RAY INDUCED CATARACT

  • X-ray protective goggles have traditionally made of leaded glass, which makes them heavy and uncomfortable, especially if worn during longer procedures.
  • EYE-P goggles are made of light-weight acrylic shields which are both highly effective in protecting against X-ray radiation but are also comfortable to wear.
  • EYE-P goggles can be worn standalone or over prescription glasses. They come with large flip-up shields to maximixe wearer protection and comfort.
