BRAYDEN CPR Manikin has the following functions for Basic Life Support:
- Realistic head tilt and chin lift for opening airway
- Chest rise with correct ventilation
- Audible feedback ("click") with correct compression depth
| 1. Blood circulation indicating lights |
These illuminate to represent blood flow from the heart to the brain. The speed of blood flow shown varies according to the depth and speed of the compressions. Correct compression rate should be 100 - 120 per minute. |
| 2. Chest compression indicating lights |
These illuminate to represent the volume of blood being circulated by the chest compressions. Correct compression depth should be at least 5cm but not more than 6cm. |
| 3. CPR quality indicating lights |
This illuminates to show that blood is reaching the brain. This will only light up with the correct compression depth, compression rate and full chest release. |
