Pacific Medical Systems (PMS) recently concluded a highly successful participation at the Asia Structural Heart Symposium (ASHI) 2026 in Hong Kong. The event served as a monumental platform as PMS officially announced the Hong Kong launch of GE HealthCare’s Vivid Pioneer ultrasound system, marking a major step forward in advancing multimodality imaging for structural heart procedures.

A key highlight of the symposium was an exclusive, hands-on workshop sponsored by GE HealthCare and Pacific Medical Systems, titled "Master 4D ICE, 4D TEE and Flexislice for Intervention Procedures". The session featured the newly launched GE Vivid Pioneer equipped with 3D TEE and 4D ICE probes operating seamlessly alongside the simuPULSE Imaging Full Heart wet simulator. This powerful combination drew immense interest from interventionalists and echocardiographers seeking to master advanced procedural guidance for complex tricuspid and mitral valve interventions.

We were privileged to have Dr. Edwin Ho—Director of Structural Heart Imaging at Montefiore Medical Center in New York and an expert in interventional echocardiography—lead the interactive workshop. Dr. Ho delivered a masterclass in communication and clinical instruction. He smoothly navigated both the simuPULSE simulator and the GE Pioneer system, expertly guiding participants through device manipulations to capture critical cardiac views—including 3D en-face orientations and Flexislice biplane imaging. Attendees thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on practice, expressing strong appreciation for Dr. Ho’s expert guidance and the system’s intuitive workflow.

Jules Flach, CEO of Pacific Medical Systems Limited, commented: "The official Hong Kong debut of GE HealthCare’s Vivid Pioneer at ASHI 2026 represents an exciting milestone for PMS. The tremendous engagement from attending clinicians confirms the critical role that precise, multi-dimensional imaging plays in modern structural heart interventions. We remain dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art technologies and high-caliber clinical education to empower healthcare professionals across the region."
Pacific Medical Systems extends its sincere gratitude to Dr. Edwin Ho, GE HealthCare, and all the clinicians, distributors, and partners who joined us in Hong Kong. PMS looks forward to building on this successful launch and continuing to support the clinical community with innovative cardiovascular solutions.
